Golden Milk Latte

Golden Milk is the modern take on haldi doodh (turmeric milk), a classic spiced remedy that is traditionally enjoyed in South Asia. Turmeric is at the heart of this blend, and when combined with warming spices, it creates a soothing drink that helps us unwind while also working to reduce inflammation and support digestion.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Herban Tapestry Golden Milk powder
  • 8-12oz milk of choice
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract or paste (optional)
  • Sweetener of choice (maple syrup and honey are the most commonly used)

Instructions

  1. Heat milk in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until steaming
  2. Add Golden Milk powder and whisk until combined.
  3. Heat gently until it is just beginning to simmer, then remove from heat.
  4. Cover the Golden Milk and allow the blend to rest for 3-5 minutes. This gives the spices time to bloom and fully infuse into the milk.
  5. Add vanilla, if desired, and sweeten to taste.
