Golden Milk Latte

Golden Milk is the modern take on haldi doodh (turmeric milk), a classic spiced remedy that is traditionally enjoyed in South Asia. Turmeric is at the heart of this blend, and when combined with warming spices, it creates a soothing drink that helps us unwind while also working to reduce inflammation and support digestion.
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon Herban Tapestry Golden Milk powder
- 8-12oz milk of choice
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract or paste (optional)
- Sweetener of choice (maple syrup and honey are the most commonly used)
Instructions
- Heat milk in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until steaming
- Add Golden Milk powder and whisk until combined.
- Heat gently until it is just beginning to simmer, then remove from heat.
- Cover the Golden Milk and allow the blend to rest for 3-5 minutes. This gives the spices time to bloom and fully infuse into the milk.
- Add vanilla, if desired, and sweeten to taste.
