Mushroom Mocha

This Mushroom Mocha tastes rich and indulgent, but the raw cacao adds more than just a delicious, chocolate flavor. Raw cacao contains naturally occurring compounds that have long been associated with mood support, energy, and mental clarity thanks to its unique mix of theobromine, magnesium, and antioxidant-rich flavanols. It’s the kind of ingredient that supports the body on multiple levels: helping us to feel more focused and emotionally steady while also delivering warmth and nourishment. Paired with functional mushrooms, cacao turns this drink into an easy ritual that feels both indulgent and supportive.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Herban Tapestry Mushroom Mocha, or equal parts Mushroom Coffee and Raw Cacao Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup (6oz) boiling water
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract or paste
  • 1 Tablespoon maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup (6oz) milk and heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Add Mushroom Mocha and cinnamon to a 12oz mug. Pour in hot water and mix until combined.
  2. Stir in maple syrup and vanilla extract
  3. Add the combination of milk and heavy cream, depending on how rich you want the mocha to be. Optional: Heat the milk and cream before adding for an extra hot drink.
